Body of missing youth recovered near Mini World's End

The body of a 27-year-old youth who had gone missing after reportedly slipping and falling off the Mini World's End viewpoint in the Knuckles Mountain Range was located and retrieved by rescue personnel.

A joint search effort comprising local police, wildlife rangers, and military personnel had been conducting search operations across the deep ravines and dense forest cover despite poor visibility, steep cliffs, and sudden weather shifts.

Authorities have transferred the remains to a nearby base hospital for a formal post-mortem examination, while police continue their inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the fatal fall.
