Accomplice of 'Angoda Priyankara' arrested with drugs, pistol and ammo

The Police Special Task Force (STF) arrested an alleged accomplice of Dubai-based organized criminal 'Angoda Priyankara' during a targeted raid carried out in the Nagahamulla area of Wellampitiya.

During the arrest, officers recovered an illegal pistol, a quantity of live ammunition, and a cache of narcotics that were allegedly in the suspect's possession for local distribution.

The apprehended suspect was handed over to local police investigators to probe his connections to cross-border drug trafficking, illegal firearms distribution, and extortion networks operated by criminal syndicates.
