U18 Sri Lankan men’s and women’s teams take wings to China

Sri Lankan men’s and women’s teams are participating in the Under-18 Asian Sevens Rugby Tournament being held in Qingdao, China.

The tournament takes place tomorrow and the day after; in the men’s competition, which features nine teams, Sri Lanka will compete in Group A alongside Hong Kong, Malaysia, and India. Eight teams are participating in the women’s tournament, with Sri Lanka set to compete in Group C during the preliminary round alongside China, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. Preliminary round matches for both tournaments will be held tomorrow.
