India to Host Inaugural ICC Women’s Champions Trophy in 2027

India will host the inaugural edition of the ICC Women’s Champions Trophy in 2027, with the tournament set to take place from February 14 to 28.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed Mumbai and Vadodara as the host cities, with matches scheduled at the Cricket Club of India in Mumbai and the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium.

The landmark tournament will represent a significant milestone for women’s cricket, introducing the Champions Trophy format to the women’s game for the first time.

ICC Chairman Jay Shah welcomed the development, describing the 2027 edition as “an exciting new chapter for women’s cricket.”

With two venues confirmed, India is set to provide the stage for the first-ever Women’s Champions Trophy, further strengthening the growth and global profile of women’s international cricket.
