Michael Jackson Tribute Show “This Is Michael” Coming to Colombo in November

Colombo is set to experience the music, movement and spectacle of Michael Jackson as the internationally acclaimed tribute production This Is Michael – Relive the Legend arrives in Sri Lanka this November.

Presented by City of Dreams Sri Lanka, the production will take place at The Podium, City of Dreams Sri Lanka, on November 8 and 9, 2026.

Having toured 15 countries and 25 cities and sold more than 500,000 tickets worldwide, This Is Michael has performed at major venues across international entertainment markets, including Mexico, Spain, Chile, the UAE and Kuwait.

The production stars Lenny Jay, whose vocals, movement and stage presence have been developed through years of studying Michael Jackson's distinctive performance style. The show combines live musicians, dancers and singers with carefully recreated costumes, choreography, stage props and visual elements inspired by Jackson's iconic performances and music videos.

The two-hour production features more than 20 of Michael Jackson's biggest hits, including Billie Jean, Beat It, Smooth Criminal, Thriller, The Way You Make Me Feel, Dangerous and Man in the Mirror.

Rather than simply performing Jackson's songs, This Is Michael aims to recreate the atmosphere and scale of a live Michael Jackson concert, bringing together music, choreography, theatrical production and visual storytelling.

For City of Dreams Sri Lanka, bringing the production to Colombo reflects its commitment to introducing major international entertainment experiences to Sri Lankan audiences.

For two nights in November, The Podium will become the setting for a celebration of one of the world's most influential performers, giving fans an opportunity to relive the music and magic of Michael Jackson on stage.
