President's Fund to recognise nearly 3,000 top A/L students with Rs. 100,000 each

The President's Fund has announced an expansive scholarship program designed to grant cash awards of Rs. 100,000 to nearly 3,000 students who achieved top honors in the 2025 G.C.E. Advanced Level examinations across Sri Lanka.

The inaugural ceremony of the district-level award series is scheduled to take place in Kilinochchi on September 26, after which corresponding facilitation events will be conducted across the remaining districts.

Officials noted that the financial awards are intended to alleviate costs associated with tertiary educational pursuits and university entrance preparations for talented youth from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.

The program reflects the administration's broader commitment to investing in human capital, ensuring equal educational encouragement and resources for outstanding students in every province.
