Bali police find Australian father and two children dead in suspected murder-suicide

An Australian man has been found dead in Bali alongside his two children in what police are investigating as a murder-suicide. Police were called to a bungalow in Kuta after hotel staff forced their way in and found 56-year-old Australian Damien John Shaw and his two Indonesian-born children, a boy aged 6 and a girl aged 4, dead about 8.30am on Sunday local time. Staff had been asked to check on Shaw by his wife, who had recently left for Jakarta and heard the children crying on a phone call.
