Bairaha Farms PLC stands out at Pro-food Pro-pack & Agbiz 2026

Sri Lanka’s pioneering and leading chicken processor Bairaha Farms PLC recently earned high praise for its creative participation at the Pro-Food Pro-Pack & Agbiz 2026 trade expo.

Organised by the Sri Lanka Food Processors’ Association (SLFPA), the Pro-food Pro-pack & Agbiz 2026 trade expo was held from August 21st to 23rd, 2026 at the BMICH, Colombo. Bairaha came forward with bold concepts to conduct creative ways of preparing delectable chicken dishes with the participation of culinary enthusiasts.

Bairaha contributed to the Home Cooking Challenge, which was organized by SLFPA. The Home Cooking Challenge is a unique platform created to celebrate the talent, creativity, and passion of home cooks. The competition was open to individuals who love cooking and wish to showcase their culinary skills in a professional event setting. It aims to inspire aspiring home chefs, encourage culinary creativity, and provide participants with the opportunity to gain recognition while competing for exciting prizes.

A total number of 12 selected housewives competed against each other by preparing creative dishes using Bairaha products presented their talent and skill to the audience at the expo. Very reputed chefs and culinary consultants evaluated the participants’ dishes, and they were awarded with gifts and prizes.

We also observed that they all participated with passion in their cooking, as well as providing fresh produced ingredients for them to work with.
