Vietjet strengthens Sri Lanka–Vietnam connectivity with new Hanoi routes, bookings now open

Vietjet will launch new services linking Colombo and the Maldives with Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital, further enhancing air connectivity between Sri Lanka and Vietnam while opening up more opportunities for Sri Lankan travellers to explore the world through the airline’s extensive flight network.

The Colombo–Hanoi and Maldives–Hanoi routes, with the latter operated via Colombo, are scheduled to commence operations on 9 February 2027. Each route will operate three round-trip flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Bookings for the new routes are now open. Passengers from Sri Lanka can book Colombo–Maldives flights separately, offering greater flexibility for their travel plans.

Together, these new routes strengthen Vietjet’s presence in South Asia, complementing its existing Colombo–Ho Chi Minh City route, its upcoming Maldives–Ho Chi Minh City service via Colombo, and its extensive network connecting Vietnam with India.
