Suspected ‘ICE’ drug consignment found at Colombo Port

A consignment of drugs suspected to be “ICE” has been discovered inside a container at the Colombo Port by officers of the Central Crime Investigation Bureau, police said.

According to police, the suspected drugs were concealed inside towels packed in the container and had reportedly been brought into Sri Lanka from Pakistan.

Investigations into the incident are currently underway.
