Sri Lanka Exports First Locally Manufactured Amphibious Craft to Europe

Sri Lanka has exported its first locally manufactured amphibious craft to Europe, marking a significant milestone for the country’s marine manufacturing industry.

The high-tech craft was manufactured by Ocean Voyager International and is designed to operate on both land and water, combining marine and road-based mobility in a single vessel.

The amphibious craft was dispatched for export from the Koggala Free Trade Zone, highlighting the growing capabilities of Sri Lanka’s local marine manufacturing sector and its potential to serve international markets.

The export marks a notable step in Sri Lanka’s efforts to expand its high-value manufacturing base and showcase locally developed marine technology to global customers.
