Sandun and Dileepa Secure Sri Lanka’s First CAVA Beach Volleyball Gold

Sri Lankan pair Sandun Madhusanka and Dileepa Chamikara have made history by winning Sri Lanka’s first-ever gold medal at a Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Beach Volleyball tournament in Bhutan.

The duo secured the men’s title after defeating India in straight sets in the final.

The landmark victory marks a significant achievement for Sri Lankan beach volleyball at the regional level, with Sandun and Dileepa becoming the first Sri Lankan pair to claim gold at a CAVA Beach Volleyball tournament.
