Funeral of Dehiwala grenade attack victims to be held tomorrow

The final rites for the two brothers who lost their lives following a grenade attack on a residence along Sirisangabo Mawatha in Dehiwala will be held tomorrow, September 14, at the Mount Lavinia Public Cemetery. The incident sent shockwaves through the local community over the weekend.

According to police reports, unidentified assailants lobbed an explosive device into the property before fleeing the scene. Both victims succumbed to severe blast injuries despite immediate efforts by neighbors and first responders to obtain medical assistance.
