Emotional Ariana Grande Bids Farewell to Fans as ‘Eternal Sunshine’ Tour Comes to an End

Ariana Grande became emotional as she wrapped up her 41-date “Eternal Sunshine” tour, saying an heartfelt farewell to fans as she prepares to step back from the spotlight.

The 33-year-old singer broke down in tears on Tuesday night at London’s The O2 arena, where she completed the final show of her tour across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Struggling to hold back tears, Grande told the audience that the tour had been “the most beautiful, extraordinary experiences” of her life and thanked her fans for their continued support.

“I’ll cherish this experience always. I have the best fans in the entire world and I always have,” she said, according to the Daily Mail.

The emotional performance marked the end of the tour’s final leg, which consisted of 10 shows at London’s O2 Arena.

Grande had previously confirmed in August that she planned to take time away from public-facing work after completing the tour. A representative for the singer told People magazine that she would be “taking a step back from visibility” following the final shows.

The representative said Grande looked forward to ending the tour on a positive note before taking a much-needed break from public appearances and the ongoing scrutiny that comes with life in the spotlight.

For Grande, the conclusion of the tour marks not only the end of an extensive run of live performances, but also the beginning of a quieter chapter as she steps away from public visibility.
