US$2.5 Mn India-funded restoration of Moragahakanda–Wellewala bridge launched

Restoration work on Bridge No. 1/1 along the Moragahakanda–Wellewala Road, which was damaged by Cyclone Ditwah, was launched today (20).

The project is being carried out with US$2.5 million in financial assistance from the Government of India.

The restoration is aimed at rebuilding infrastructure damaged by the cyclone and restoring connectivity along the affected road.
