Universal Gateway Holdings Expands F&B Portfolio with Thai Fusion and Global Kitchen

Universal Gateway Holdings (Pvt) Ltd has strengthened its presence in Sri Lanka's food and beverage sector with the opening of two new restaurants, Thai Fusion and Global Kitchen, operating from the same premises at 60, Davidson Road, Colombo 4, adjacent to Duplication Road.

The grand opening ceremony of the restaurants took place under the distinguished patronage of the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Dr Rizvie Salih and Madam Sarah Salih , 18th August, along with the participation of the heads of the diplomatic missions of Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestine, Türkiye and Vietnam, as well as other diplomats, former ministers, celebrities and prominent members of the business community, marking another milestone in the group's ongoing hospitality expansion.

Thai Fusion, located on the ground and mezzanine floors, is built around the idea of an authentic Thai fine dining experience, led by a team of gourmet chefs from Thailand, specializing in creating sophisticated, and artfully presented dishes, designed to be a visual treat and a gastronomic delight to the discerning connoisseur of exotic food. The menu features traditional salads, soups, curries, seafood specialities, rice and noodle dishes, alongside signature Thai desserts and beverages.

On the first floor, Global Kitchen takes a different approach as a multi-cuisine restaurant. It places particular emphasis on imported premium steaks and gourmet burgers, alongside a broad selection of Pakistani, Chinese, Indian and other international dishes. The concept is designed for families, business diners, and guests looking for variety under one roof.
