Suspect arrested over multiple thefts including stealing tablets from school

Ambalangoda Police have arrested a male suspect facing multiple charges, including breaking into the computer laboratory of a local school and stealing two tablet devices.

Officers initiated the search operation following formal complaints lodged by school administrators and residents regarding recurring break-ins in the area.

During subsequent questioning, the suspect assisted police in recovering the stolen electronics, and he is scheduled to be produced before the Balapitiya Magistrate's Court.
