Sri Lankan Paralympic Team Meets Sports Minister Ahead of Japan Departure

Sri Lanka’s team participating in the 2026 Asian Para Games in Japan met with the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports on October 7 ahead of their departure for Aichi-Nagoya.

The Sri Lankan contingent is scheduled to leave for Japan on October 11, with the team set to compete in the tournament on October 11 and 12.

The 2026 Asian Para Games will be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, bringing together athletes from across Asia.

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports extended its congratulations and best wishes to the Sri Lankan athletes as they prepare to represent the country at the regional sporting event.
