Sri Lanka Tourism Showcases Island Experiences to Swiss Travellers in Zürich

Sri Lanka Tourism has held a consumer promotional event in Zürich, Switzerland, showcasing the island’s diverse attractions, culture and travel experiences to Swiss travellers.

The event featured traditional Sri Lankan cultural performances, a Sri Lanka Selfie Corner and a Surf Balance Challenge, giving visitors an interactive introduction to some of the experiences associated with the destination.

A raffle draw offering two return Edelweiss air tickets to Sri Lanka also generated interest, while Edelweiss joined Sri Lanka Tourism to provide information on the forthcoming seasonal direct Zürich–Colombo connectivity.

Sri Lanka Tourism representatives engaged with visitors throughout the event, highlighting the country’s beaches, wildlife, cultural heritage, nature, Ayurveda and wellness, adventure activities, cuisine and local experiences.

The promotional initiative combined entertainment, interactive activities and travel information to strengthen awareness of Sri Lanka among Swiss consumers and encourage future travel to the island.
