Sarvajana Balaya Media Secretary Hasan Alaldeen resigns from all party positions

Entrepreneur Hasan Alaldeen, who contested as a National List candidate for Sarvajana Balaya at the last General Election and as the party’s mayoral candidate for Colombo at the Local Government Election, has resigned from all positions he held within the party.
Alaldeen formally handed over his resignation letter today to Sarvajana Balaya General Secretary Ranjan Seneviratne, citing personal reasons.
In his letter, he expressed gratitude to party leader Dilith Jayaweera, the General Secretary, and fellow members for their support since he joined the party.
He noted his appreciation for being entrusted with senior responsibilities, including candidacy opportunities and leadership roles.
Alaldeen also thanked the Chairman of the Sarvajana Muslim Solidarity for appointing him as National Convenor.
Effective today, Alaldeen has stepped down from the following positions:
