New Sampath Bank branch unveiled in Port City Colombo

Marking a significant milestone in its journey, Sampath Bank officially opened a new branch in Port City Colombo yesterday (08).

As the first bank to start banking services in Port City Colombo, Sampath Bank introduced a Cash Recycler Machine (CRM) to facilitate cash deposits and withdrawals.

The occasion was attended by the Board of Directors of Sampath Bank, Corporate Management, representatives of the Port City Economic Commission of Colombo (CPCEC), Directors of CHEC Port City Colombo (Private) Limited, customers and many other distinguished guests.

The first transaction at the new branch was conducted by Mr. Andraraja Pillay, Director of PRIME MELWA PORT CITY PVT LTD.

This new branch will go beyond the functions of a typical bank branch and will function as a modern financial services center designed to meet the needs of businessmen, investors and entrepreneurs.
