Dr. Sameera Dharmasena Appointed CEO of Sri Lanka Insurance Life

Sri Lanka Insurance Life (SLIC Life) has appointed Dr. Sameera Dharmasena as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 22, 2026.

Dr. Dharmasena brings more than 21 years of experience in Sri Lanka’s insurance industry, having held leadership positions across several leading insurance companies.

In addition to his industry experience, he has contributed to insurance education and professional development, strengthening his background in both business leadership and industry capacity building.

He assumes the CEO role at SLIC Life with extensive experience in the insurance sector and a strong professional track record spanning more than two decades.
