Ryan Gunawardhana Secures Podium Finish in Malaysia Karting Championship Debut

Sri Lankan karting driver Ryan Gunawardhana delivered an impressive performance at the Malaysia Karting Championship (MKC), securing second place in the Final during his debut appearance in the championship.

Competing at a track he had never raced at before, Ryan faced an early setback after unfortunate accidents left him starting from the back of the grid.

Despite the difficult position, the young Sri Lankan fought his way through the field and climbed back into the podium places, finishing the Final in P2.

The result marked a strong debut in the MKC for Ryan, showcasing his pace, determination and ability to recover under challenging race conditions.

His podium finish adds another notable achievement to Sri Lanka’s growing presence in international karting, as Ryan continues to compete and gain experience on regional racing circuits.
