Citypak joins forces with PickMe to launch an island-wide Courier feature

PickMe has expanded its parcel delivery services with the launch of PickMe Courier, powered by Sri Lankan courier provider Citypak, enabling users to send parcels across the island through the PickMe app.

Under the collaboration, Citypak will manage the complete operational process, including parcel collection, sorting, line-haul transportation and last-mile delivery.

Users can access the Courier option through the PickMe app, enter their pick-up and drop-off locations, provide shipment details and confirm the delivery request in a few steps. Citypak will then handle the delivery process from collection to final destination.

The new service complements PickMe Flash, which continues to cater to urgent, short-distance and instant delivery requirements. PickMe Courier is designed for scheduled, longer-distance parcel deliveries between cities and regions, providing an option for personal packages and everyday shipping needs.

Citypak CEO Vaseeharan Thiagarajah said the collaboration brings Citypak’s logistics expertise to a wider customer base through the convenience of the PickMe platform. He added that the partnership aims to make island-wide parcel delivery simpler, more efficient and accessible.

PickMe CEO Jiffry Zulfer said the collaboration expands the platform beyond on-demand services into structured, island-wide logistics by integrating Citypak’s established delivery network.

PickMe Courier is now available through the PickMe app, allowing users to arrange parcel deliveries across Sri Lanka in just a few steps.
