Online police clearance certificate service temporarily suspended

Sri Lanka Police have temporarily suspended the online submission and processing of applications for Police Clearance Certificates due to vital system maintenance work currently underway on the central police clearance computer infrastructure.

The Police Department stated that the maintenance operation is aimed at enhancing system reliability, optimizing security protocols, and expediting backend verification procedures for applicants seeking clearance certificates for employment, visas, and other official needs.

The public has been advised that services will return to normal operation upon completion of the scheduled maintenance, and an official announcement will be made when the platform is fully restored for public use.
