Niruksha Kumara and Sanjaya Mahawatta of the United Opposition Visit Saudi Embassy

Civil activists Niruksha Kumara and Sanjaya Mahawatta of the United Opposition, along with a group of lawyers, went to the Saudi Embassy in Kollupitiya and handed over a letter requesting action regarding Anojan, who has been sentenced in Saudi Arabia.

Speaking to the media afterwards, they said that everyone in society should work towards securing the young man's release and become involved through diplomatic means.

They also said that they would stand up on behalf of him.
