9 Bus Drivers, Conductors Arrested For Drug Use

Nine bus drivers and conductors were arrested with narcotics at the Makumbura Multimodal Transport Centre yesterday (24) after police uncovered evidence that they had been using illegal drugs.
Police said investigations revealed that the suspects had consumed various types of narcotics, including cannabis.
The arrested bus drivers and conductors are scheduled to be produced before the Homagama Magistrate's Court for further legal proceedings.
