Malaysia Airlines Named Best Airline Staff in Asia at 2026 Skytrax Awards

Malaysia Airlines has been named Best Airline Staff in Asia at the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards, moving up six places in the category.
The airline also ranked among the world’s top three airlines for cabin crew, improving five places from its eighth-place position in 2025.
The awards recognise the airline’s signature Malaysian Hospitality and the contribution of its employees across airport services, onboard operations and ground handling.
Malaysia Aviation Group Chief Executive Officer Captain Nasaruddin A Bakar said the recognition reflected the collective dedication of employees across all areas of the airline’s operations.
Malaysia Airlines is targeting a position among the world’s top 10 airlines by 2030 as it continues to expand and modernise its fleet.
The carrier has so far received 29 new aircraft, with a total fleet of 117 modern aircraft planned by 2035. It has also recorded a 91.38% year-to-date on-time performance, according to the airline.
The latest Skytrax recognition adds to Malaysia Airlines’ international profile as it continues its efforts to strengthen service standards and customer experience.
