Kuwait deals with attacks as US-Iran strikes ramp up
Kuwait said on Thursday morning that its air defence forces were intercepting Iranian "hostile missile and drone attacks."
This comes amid an escalation in the US-Iran war, with the warring parties trading threats on Wednesday after some of the heaviest fighting in weeks.
President Donald Trump said US forces staged a "very heavy attack" on Iranian targets overnight and are "prepared to do another one any time we want".
Iran, meanwhile, reported 18 dead in the last US assault, including four killed and dozens wounded at a wedding. Iran's health minister that 108 wounded in Tuesday night's US strikes across Iran.
Washington has vowed to ramp up economic pressure on Iran, threatening its allies with sanctions.
