Investigations into Easter Sunday Attacks Have Improved Under Current Government – Fr. Cyril Gamini

Rev. Fr. Cyril Gamini Fernando, spokesperson for His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, said the investigations into the Easter Sunday attacks have become more systematic since the current government came to power, and expressed appreciation to the government for this.

He said the investigations had not been properly conducted during previous governments.

“There are more than a hundred cases being heard in connection with the Easter Sunday attacks. One particular case is being referred to by various individuals as the ‘main Easter Sunday attacks case.’ However, it is not the main case.

“The victims need to know who the masterminds behind the attacks were.”
