Indian fishing vessel in distress off Delft Coast; Navy launches rescue operation

The Sri Lanka Navy has launched a special rescue operation after an Indian fishing vessel that allegedly entered Sri Lankan waters illegally met with an accident off the coast of Delft Island.

The Navy said efforts are underway to rescue the fishermen aboard the vessel following the incident.
