Hyderabad weather today: IMD forecasts rain, thunderstorms in city; nine Telangana districts on orange alert

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rain and thundershowers for Hyderabad over the next 24 hours, while issuing heavy rainfall alerts for several districts across Telangana.

According to the latest IMD bulletin, the city is expected to witness a generally cloudy sky, with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to hover around 28°C and 22°C, respectively.

The IMD has issued an orange warning for Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy, where heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places on Thursday.

A yellow alert has also been issued for Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally and Mulugu, with heavy rainfall expected in isolated areas.
