Horror house fire rips through Western Sydney home

Thick black smoke is wafting through Western Sydney as a home is destroyed by fire.

Numerous Triple-0 calls were made to report the horror blaze on Station St at Regents Park just after 11am on Thursday.

Fire and Rescue NSW sent eight fire trucks and more than 35 firefighters to tackle the ongoing fire.

The home is currently fully involved, and firefighters are working on extinguish the fire, and stopping the spread to neighbouring homes.

There have been no reports of injuries at this stage.

Emergency services are currently working to establish whether there is anyone unaccounted for.

Fire and Rescue NSW said that there could be traffic disruptions in the area, but Transport for NSW has not yet identified any impacts.
