Harischandra Mills Appoints Revantha Devasurendra to Board

Harischandra Mills PLC has appointed Revantha Devasurendra as a Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director to its Board.
Devasurendra brings extensive experience as a board member, investor and entrepreneur, with a professional portfolio spanning listed companies, food service, export manufacturing, hospitality and technology.
His expertise includes financial analysis and investment appraisal, alongside hands-on experience in brand development, business restructuring and management systems. As a board member, he brings an entrepreneurial perspective to governance, with a focus on strategy, accountability, people development and disciplined business growth.
He has previously held board positions at companies including Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC and currently serves on the boards of Colombo City Holdings PLC and enterprise technology firm MillenniumIT ESP.
As an entrepreneur and investor, Devasurendra is the Managing Director of British Ceylon Capital, where he focuses on hospitality real estate. He has also been involved in the expansion and modernisation of heritage brands, including Green Cabin, through structured business scaling frameworks.
Devasurendra is also deeply involved in the global entrepreneurial community. He is a founding board member and former Chapter President of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Sri Lanka and is a certified Bloom Growth Coach.
He holds a degree in Industrial Economics from the University of Nottingham and a specialised certification in Hotel Real Estate Investments from Cornell University.
His appointment adds further business, investment and entrepreneurial experience to the Board of Harischandra Mills PLC.
