Former Minister Manusha Nanayakkara Leaves Bribery Commission After Four-Hour Questioning

Former Minister Manusha Nanayakkara was summoned to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) office in Jawatta today.

He left the Commission premises after being questioned for approximately four hours.

When asked about the reason for his summons, Nanayakkara said there were several matters involved.

Speaking to journalists after leaving the Commission, he said:

“I am no longer in politics. The people have sent us into retirement. We are now carrying on with our businesses.”
