Floral Tributes to the Anagarika Dharmapala Statue

A floral tribute ceremony was held this morning at the statue of Anagarika Dharmapala, located at Colombo Town Hall, to mark the Anagarika Dharmapala Commemoration Day.

Ven. Banagala Upatissa Thero, President of the Maha Bodhi Society, offered floral tributes, while the Deputy Mayor of the Colombo Municipal Council, Mr. Hemantha Weerakoon, placed a floral garland on the statue. The gathering also observed the Five Precepts, administered by the Maha Sangha.
