Fire at Soysapura Housing Complex Leaves One Dead, Three Injured

A fire that broke out at a house in the Soysapura Housing Complex in Moratuwa tonight has left one person dead and three others injured.

The fire broke out in a house in Block C of the apartment complex.

Police said a gas leak is suspected to have caused the fire. The three injured persons were admitted to the Kalubowila Hospital for treatment.

The Moratuwa Fire Brigade deployed several fire engines to bring the blaze under control, and the fire has since been extinguished.
