FACETS Sri Lanka 2027 to Showcase Sri Lanka’s Gem Heritage on Global Stage

The 34th edition of FACETS Sri Lanka 2027, organised by the Sri Lanka Gem & Jewellery Association (SLGJA), was officially launched with the participation of industry officials, organisers and key stakeholders.

The premier international gem and jewellery exhibition is scheduled to take place from January 4 to 6, 2027, at Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams Colombo, bringing together more than 100 exhibitors and leading buyers from major global markets including the USA, Europe, the Middle East, India, China and Thailand.

FACETS Sri Lanka 2027 will highlight the country’s renowned gemstone industry, featuring Sri Lanka’s world-famous sapphires, precious stones and luxury jewellery creations. The event aims to strengthen international trade opportunities while showcasing the craftsmanship and heritage of Sri Lanka’s gem sector.

The exhibition will also feature a range of exclusive experiences, including Sapphire Night, Story Corner, Power Breakfast, Mine Tour and Port City Tour, offering visitors deeper insights into Sri Lanka’s gem industry and cultural identity.

During the media briefing, organisers unveiled the official FACETS 2027 theme and teaser video, while also announcing exhibition dates for future editions from 2028 to 2030.

With its continued global presence and growing international participation, FACETS Sri Lanka remains positioned as the country’s flagship platform for promoting gems, jewellery and business opportunities to the world.
