Getting around Dubai is set to become more convenient for residents and visitors, with Al Ansari Exchange partnering with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to offer nol Travel Cards at selected branches across the emirate.
The partnership, in association with MDX Technology Solutions ME, an RTA-authorised distributor of nol Travel Cards, gives customers another convenient location to purchase the cards through Al Ansari Exchange’s branch network.
The nol Travel Card can be used for cashless payments across Dubai’s public transport network, including the Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram, public buses and marine transport, as well as for public parking.
Beyond transport, the card is accepted at more than 14,000 retail outlets across the UAE. Users can also access more than 200 lifestyle offers and discounts through the nol Pay app.
The move expands Al Ansari Exchange’s services beyond remittances and foreign exchange, allowing customers to access everyday payment and lifestyle services through its branches.
Musad Ibrahim Alhammadi, Director of Automated Collection Systems at RTA’s Corporate Technology Support Services Sector, said the partnership would help make nol Travel Cards more accessible across Dubai and support the wider adoption of digital payment solutions.
Ali Al Najjar, CEO of Al Ansari Exchange, said the company was expanding its services to meet changing customer needs by bringing together financial, payment and lifestyle services across its physical and digital platforms.
