Dilith Jayaweera Addresses More Than 1,000 Students at ‘Upgrade’ Workshop Certificate Ceremony

Leader of the Sarvajana Balaya and Member of Parliament Dilith Jayaweera attended the certificate awarding ceremony of the ‘Upgrade’ workshop as the chief guest.

The workshop was organised through a collaboration among several institutions in Sri Lanka’s private tuition sector.

As part of the programme, the organisers had launched a special initiative offering several free educational courses for students who had completed their G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination and were at home awaiting their next stage of education.

The students were provided with free courses in English, Information Technology and Management.

The certificate awarding ceremony was held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo, with more than 1,000 students in attendance.
