When ‘Trainer’ Crosses the Line: Delhi Model Killed in Alleged Attack by Gym Trainer
· India
A 21-year-old student and part-time model was allegedly stabbed to death inside her home in west Delhi, with police identifying her gym trainer, Imran, as the main suspect in the case. The suspect reportedly fled the scene and remains absconding as police continue their search.
The victim, identified as Muskan, was reportedly alone at her rented home in the Tilak Nagar area when she was attacked. She sustained multiple stab wounds and was rushed to hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police are examining CCTV footage and other evidence as part of the investigation.
According to people close to Muskan, Imran had allegedly been pursuing her and repeatedly harassing her. Some reports also claim he had pressured her to enter a relationship or marry him. These claims are part of the ongoing investigation and have not been independently established by police.
The case has renewed concerns about unwanted advances, stalking and harassment being dismissed as expressions of affection. A person’s refusal should always be respected, regardless of whether the relationship is professional, personal or social.
If someone repeatedly ignores your boundaries, pressures you after you have said no, or begins stalking or threatening you, those behaviours should not be ignored. Seeking support from trusted people and reporting serious harassment can be important steps toward staying safe.
The investigation into Muskan’s death is ongoing, with police teams searching for the suspect and examining CCTV footage and other evidence to establish what happened.
