Danu Innasithamby Honoured as “Media Personality of the Year 2026” at Diamond Excellence Awards

Colombo, Sri Lanka – 23 August 2026: Sri Lankan media personality, television host and content creator Danu Innasithamby was honoured with the “Diamond Excellence in Media Personality of the Year 2026” award at the Diamond Excellence Awards 2026, held at the Lumina Ballroom, Cinnamon Life – City of Dreams, Colombo.

The recognition celebrates Danu’s contribution to Sri Lanka’s evolving media landscape and his continued work across television, digital media, radio, entertainment and print.

Over the years, Danu has built a distinctive presence in the industry through his unique style of presenting, interviewing and storytelling. From entertainment and lifestyle to conversations that highlight inspiring personalities and important social causes, his work has continued to connect with audiences both locally and internationally.

Receiving the award, Danu expressed his gratitude to those who have been part of his journey.
