Education Reforms Discussed at Colombo Zonal Student Parliament

The first session of the Colombo Zonal Student Parliament was held on September 29 at the historic Old Parliamentary Chamber of the Presidential Secretariat under the “Vision” programme.

The session brought together school students for discussions and an exchange of views on matters related to education.

Questions raised by the students on ongoing education reforms were addressed during the session, providing an opportunity for them to gain further insight into the proposed changes.

The programme is aimed at encouraging students to engage in discussions on education and other issues affecting their future, while providing a platform for them to express their views and raise questions directly with policymakers.
