Colombo Marathon 2026 Draws Over 7,000 Participants

The Colombo Marathon 2026 concluded with resounding success, bringing together more than 7,000 participants and further strengthening Sri Lanka’s position as an emerging global sports tourism destination.

Organised by the Ministry of Sports, the major sporting event was held today at Galle Face Green, attracting athletes and running enthusiasts from across the country.

The large-scale event showcased Colombo as a vibrant sporting destination while providing a platform for athletes to compete, connect and celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship.
