Charles & Keith celebrates 30 years of fashion with collection that revisits some of its most remembered designs
· Australia
It’s the popular Singaporean fashion label founded in 1996 by brothers Charles and Keith Wong, specialising in stylish and affordable women’s footwear, handbags, and accessories. And while you might not believe it, Charles & Keith has now been around for 30 years. In honour of the anniversary, the brand is releasing a 30th anniversary collection, Horizons. Horizons revisits the silhouettes that have become synonymous with the brand, stripping them back in a new monochromatic grey.
The special-edition collection takes its colour cue from the brand’s signature packaging. Rather than introducing a new seasonal palette, Charles & Keith has applied the shade across a selection of existing silhouettes, giving the anniversary range a consistent look. At the centre of the new collection is a single colour: grey. Not borrowed from seasonal trends, but drawn from something far more familiar – the Charles & Keith paper bag and packaging.
For years, this understated shade has quietly accompanied every purchase, becoming an unmistakable part of the brand’s visual language. Now, it steps into the spotlight, transforming an everyday signature into the foundation of the collection. The Hazel Bow Top Handle Bag, Philomena Half-Moon Crossbody, Louise Knee-High Boots and Silko Ballet Sneakers each reveal a distinct facet of the brand’s aesthetic. Meanwhile, the Gabine returns in both East-West bag and slide sandal forms. Accessories round out the capsule, including micro bags, eyewear, jewellery and the Dodie Bear Charm.
Everything is reasonably priced, with shoppers rushing to stock up on their favourite pieces. “Okay stop it with this collection,” wrote one excited shopper on Instagram. “Grey is the new purple,” adds another. For more information and to browse the Horizons collection for yourself, head here now.
