Chamari Athapaththu Reaches Career-Best ICC Rankings Across Three Categories

Sri Lanka women’s cricket captain Chamari Athapaththu has achieved a career-best milestone in the latest ICC Women’s T20I rankings, rising to top positions across batting, bowling and all-rounder categories.
According to the International Cricket Council, Athapaththu is ranked sixth in T20I batting, third among all-rounders and 33rd in bowling, highlighting her continued impact across all aspects of the game.
The achievement comes as Sri Lanka prepare for their second match of the Women’s Asia Cup, with the team set to face Thailand today at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
The match is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM.
Sri Lanka made a strong start to their campaign, securing a nine-wicket victory over the United Arab Emirates in their opening match.
