‘Angoda Priyankara’ associate arrested with drugs and firearm

An associate of underworld figure “Angoda Priyankara,” who is reported to have fled to Dubai, has been arrested with a stock of drugs and a firearm in Wellampitiya.

The suspect was arrested by the Police Special Task Force in the Nagahamulla area of Wellampitiya.

Police said the suspect was found in possession of 716 grams of heroin, 255 grams of ice, and a Russian-made micro pistol containing a round of ammunition.
