AMW Introduces New Nissan Tekton SUV in Sri Lanka, Prices Start at Rs. 10.99 Million

Associated Motorways (AMW), Sri Lanka’s authorised distributor of Nissan vehicles and a member of the Al-Futtaim Group, has officially launched the new Nissan Tekton SUV in Sri Lanka.

The vehicle was unveiled on October 22, 2026, at the Nissan showroom on Union Place, Colombo, marking another milestone in the longstanding partnership between AMW and Nissan.

The new Nissan Tekton is positioned as an option for Sri Lankan customers seeking a modern SUV, combining contemporary styling with turbocharged engine options and safety features. The launch also highlights Nissan’s 75-year heritage in SUV development.

Speaking at the launch event, AMW Group Managing Director Jawahar Ganesh said Nissan’s long history of SUV development reflected its engineering innovation and progress. He added that AMW remained committed to bringing Nissan vehicles to Sri Lankan consumers.

The Nissan Tekton features a modern exterior design and has reportedly received a five-star safety rating from the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (Bharat NCAP), according to information provided for the launch.

Four Variants Introduced

The Nissan Tekton is being offered in four variants, with suggested prices ranging from Rs. 10.99 million to Rs. 19.19 million.

The entry-level Tekton HR10 Mid E2 MT Acenta, powered by a 1.0-litre turbocharged engine with a manual transmission, is priced at Rs. 10,990,000.

The 1.3-litre turbocharged Tekton HR13 UPP E3 DCT N-Connecta, equipped with a dual-clutch transmission (DCT), is priced at Rs. 17,490,000. The Tekton HR13 PRE E4 DCT Tekna variant is priced at Rs. 18,490,000, while the range-topping Tekton HR13 PRE TECH E4+ DCT Tekna+ is priced at Rs. 19,190,000.

The four-variant lineup is intended to cater to customers with different preferences and requirements.

Availability in Sri Lanka

Customers can view the new Nissan Tekton SUV at the Nissan showroom on Union Place, Colombo. Immediate delivery is available subject to stock availability.
