23-year-old arrested with Ice, Heroin and Kush in Ahungalla

A suspect has been arrested with the narcotic substances 'Ice' (crystal methamphetamine), heroin and ‘kush’ at the Elathota Junction roadblock in Ahungalla.

The drugs were discovered when a team of officers from the Ahungalla Police Station stopped and searched a suspicious motorcycle.

Accordingly, Police had recovered 1 kilogram and 194 grams of ‘Ice,’ 217 grams of heroin, and 101 grams and 270 milligrams of kush from the suspect.

The motorcycle was also taken into police custody, police said.

Police said the arrested suspect is a 23-year-old resident of the Watugedara area.

Ahungalla Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
