“1993.11.11 – Pooneryn Terrorist Attack” Book Launched

The book was authored by Retired Major Selvin Sale.

Retired Major General Ranjith de Silva attended the event as the Chief Guest.

During the event, speakers shared their experiences of the Battle of Pooneryn, including accounts of the harrowing experiences faced during the battle.

They also spoke about the situation on the battlefield at the time and the circumstances surrounding military personnel in society today.

The author presented copies of his book to the Chief Guests, his mother, and the mother of a fallen serviceman who died during the Battle of Pooneryn.
